Eric N. Hermann, Ph.D.
Eric earned his Ph.D. in musicology from the University of Maryland at College Park. He has consulted on writing projects in numerous disciplines, including business, humanities, social sciences, and STEM fields, and coached and tutored students at the Maryland Graduate Writing Center as a Graduate Writing Fellow for three years. Eric has published articles and book reviews in peer-reviewed journals and spoken at national and international conferences in his field (including the American Musicological Society and the Society for American Music). He travels widely and is an avid fan of languages, speaking both Spanish and Mandarin. He founded Editing for ESL in 2015.
Khosro A. Shirvani, Ph.D.
Born in Tehran, Khosro is a multi-lingual educator with a wealth of business and academic experience. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Howard University, and his background combines academic writing, teaching, and business consulting. Before coming to the United States, he consulted for TUGA, one of the main global players in the turbine industry. He has run a research laboratory, taught engineering courses, and led several projects for Boeing Company during his tenure at Howard. He is a member of the center of Integrated Quantum Materials (CIQM) based jointly at Howard, Harvard and MIT.
